We are located on a Ministry of Defence base at Chicksands in Bedfordshire.
Visit us by car
You can access the camp gate from a turn off on the A600. There is no entry via Ampthill Road.
You can use the post code SG17 5QB for the Rowney Warren forest in your Sat Nav to get you to the correct side. Follow the road ahead, through the forest, and you will reach the camp gate.
Visit us by public transport
Take the 9A or 9B bus (Hitchin-Bedford). Get off at the Chicksands Turn bus stop. You will then have a short walk down to the entrance of the camp.
Bedford station and Hitchin station are the closest railway links with taxi ranks. It is then approximately a 20 minute drive to the museum.
