The Military Intelligence Museum is located on an active Ministry of Defence base. To comply with the site's security regulations, all visits are by appointment only and require at least three days' notice.

Seasonal closure:
MIM closes from 27 November 2026 and reopens on 2 March 2027.

Guided Tours
Free guided tours are offered to all visitors. Though not obligatory, these tours are led by a military veteran or museum staff member, help place the exhibits in context and answer your questions.
These tours are a popular feature of the museum experience and are highly recommended. And, if you ask, your tour guide may even tell you about their own experiences!
Group Visits
Group visits are welcomed, with a limit of no more than 50 persons.
Coach parking is available.
Please discuss your group transport and access requirements with a member of staff when you make your booking.
