Richards DH, Corporal

Richards DH, Corporal

DH Richards joined the Territorial Army in 1938, serving as a Gunner with the Royal Artillery. Following the outbreak of war, he took part in the Norway Campaign and, later, was posted to Egypt.
After attending No 25 Field Security Course, he transferred into the Intelligence Corps in July 1942 in the rank of Private.
Corporal DH Richards was hospitalised in 1945 following a motorcycle accident, an all too common occurrence.
He survived this ordeal and his Efficiency Medal (Territorial) was awarded on 11th July 1945.
