Dunn H, Warrant Officer Two
Warrant Officer Henry Dunn BEM, known as ‘Harry’, was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the Africa Star with 8th Army Clasp, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the War Medal to which he later added the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
On 9th June 1966 WO Dunn added a British Empire Medal when the Governor of Hong Kong pinned it to his chest.
The Citation for his BEM recorded that WO Dunn’s “sound knowledge of complicated procedures, coupled with tremendous tact, discretion and meticulous attention to detail, entailing long hours of duty, earned him the complete trust of the officers he served.”
