Lieutenant Colonel C.W ‘Bill’ Boardman died in 1977 and his General Service Medal 1918-1962 with Malaya Clasp and General Service Medal 1962-2007 with South Arabia Clasp were donated by his widow in 1978.
He is shown here on the left when Commanding Officer of the Intelligence and Security Group Germany. In the centre is Brigadier Mears who has just presented the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal to the Warrant Officer on the right.
