Honours and Awards

Since the formation of the Intelligence Corps on 19 July 1940, over 2500 of its officers and soldiers have been decorated for gallantry or distinguished service, and many of them more than once.

Our display consists of medal cabinets with pull out drawers in which are individual sets of medals with the story of the recipient and associated photographs and artefacts.

Alongside these is an interactive display that allows users to understand the relevance and significance of medals, as well as researching all those individuals who have won awards.

The display also features a number of interesting case histories to further expand on the activities of the recipients.
